Edwil John “Jack” Dailey

Edwil John “Jack” Dailey, 85, of Allison Park passed away Tuesday at his home.

Jack was born Oct. 7, 1930, in Pittsburgh, the son of the late Edwin Dailey and Lucy Dugal.

Throughout his life, Jack worked at Glitspur Exhibits as a model builder. He was a member of St. Ursula Parish in Allison Park, the Allegheny Country Rifle Club and the Local Union 1160. He was an avid trap and pool shooter and enjoyed gunsmithing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Sarah Dailey; and his sister, Joan Wilhelm.

Jack was survived by his longtime friend and “sweetie,” Elizabeth Kury; his children, Denise McCauley (Jim), Jeffrey Dailey (Margaret), Judy Franz (Dave) and Jennifer Kearns (Chris); nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his brother, Dan Dailey (Matt).

DAILEY — Friends of Edwil John “Jack” Dailey, who died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and again at 9 a.m. Monday, preceding Mass, at Eloise B.
