Turnpike in county to close Sunday for bridge work
Traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Butler County will be disrupted early Sunday morning because the road will be shut down for bridge work.
The Turnpike will be closed in both directions between the Butler Valley Interchange — Exit 39 — and the Allegheny Valley Interchange — Exit 48 — between midnight and 5 a.m. on Sunday.
The closure is needed for crews to remove an overhead bridge carrying Route 910 at milepost 43.5 in Allegheny County.
