ADAMS TWP — State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-12th, will host a firearms safety and rights seminar at 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the Mars VFW, 331 Mars Valencia Road.

Butler County Sheriff Mike Slupe and county District Attorney Richard Goldinger will speak at the event, which will include information about state gun laws, the Castle Doctrine and the process for getting a concealed carry permit. Applications for concealed carry will be available.
