ORIGINAL VALENTINES — Winners of the Original Valentine Contest sponsored by Midwestern Pennsylvania Heart Association, Butler County Unit, show their work to Mrs. Richard Ligas, a judge, at Butler Mall where entries were displayed Feb. 14, 1974. From left are Jeff Cuny, 8; Beth McCarthy, 13; and Kim Eury, 7. Ligas was an elementary art teacher at Northwest, Meridian and Institute Hill Schools. Other judges included Richard Catt, Butler Junior High School principal; and Mickey Deahl, president of Butler Consumer Discount. Each winner received two passes to Plaza Theatre.
