Owner of vandalized pig farm offers $5,000 reward in case
ALLEGHENY TWP — A farmer who runs a guided hunting business which was vandalized earlier this month says he’s now offering a reward for information in the case.
Larry Lint, who owns The Pig Farm on Foxburg Road, said he’s offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for cutting holes in the farm’s fences sometime overnight on New Year’s Eve.
The vandalism resulted in the escape of about 70 farm-raised whitetail deer and about 150 wild boars.
He managed to capture about half the boars and a few deer.
Lint said people interested in contacting him can call him at the farm at 724-791-0032; or on his cell phone at 724-261-0283.
