JEFFERSON TWP — A Knoch High School cheerleader has organized a fundraiser on Friday during the Knoch boy’s basketball game against Burrell.

The fundraiser will begin during the seventh and eighth grade game at 3:30 p.m. with Breanna Scheidt, a sophomore, and her friends collecting donations from the crowd. Then the fundraiser will span the varsity and junior varsity games, including a basketball shooting contest, “Red Out” theme and items to buy.

Scheidt said all proceeds will go to the American Heart Association in honor of her late father, who died of a heart attack.
