Christina Davis contributed a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Butler County Community College women’s basketball team to a 68-59 win over visiting Westmoreland County Community College on Monday.

Alycia Brehm added 18 points and Macy Smolic 10 for the Pioneers (11-6, 3-0).

Men’s BasketballThe Pioneers suffered a 94-87 setback to WCCC, despite having four players score in double figures.Ken Snead paced the effort with 25 points, Austin Miller had 23, Demetrius Lockley 15 and Jake Anderson 13.Miller dished out 10 assists and Anderson grabbed 12 rebounds for the Pioneers (2-17, 2-4).
