The family of John (Chester) Craig would like to thank all of our family, friends, coworkers and neighbors for your love, support and kindness shown to us in our time of sorrow.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Hile Funeral Home and staff and to the members of the Chicora Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Services for the love and compassion you have shown to our family for John’s memorial service and Honor Guards. Life Flight/AGH and coordinating all of the area fire departments and EMS services that were there for the funeral to honor John for his many years of service to Chicora and the surrounding communities.

Thank you to Pat Ritzert and everyone who donated food and helped with the dinners at the Chicora fire hall. Thank you to my family, friends and neighbors who came to the house the day John passed. For bringing food, staying here at the house with me, you are a comfort and blessing to me.

Thank you for your cards, letters, on-line condolences, phone calls, visits, all offers of help, food, floral arrangements, plants, blankets, chimes, gifts, videos, monetary gifts and your monetary donations in John’s memory.

Our family was deeply touched by the overwhelming love and support we received from everyone, please forgive me if I missed anyone. We will never forget your thoughtfulness.
