'Nature's Voice'
Kookaburra
The new free-flight bird show “Nature's Voice” at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh features a rare palm nut vulture, burrowing owls and the Australian laughing kookaburra.
The 20-minute show highlights remarkable bird behaviors and adaptations.
Video, music and narration enhance the presentation in which birds fly freely in the indoor theater space.
The aviary at 700 Arch St. near Schenley Park is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. General admission is $14 for adults and $13 for senior citizens and children ages 2 to 12. Visit nationalaviary.org for more information.
