Car crashes into hydrant
A car this morning ran into a fire hydrant on Pillow Street, shearing the hydrant off the ground. The crash happened about 8 a.m., but water from the hydrant did not gush out. Traffic from Jefferson Street was blocked from turning on to Pillow Street, but most of the street remained open. Police cleared the scene about 8:30 a.m.
