State Police, Butler5:58 a.m. Friday — A Jeep driven by Trisha L. Amy, 36, of Freeport struck a deer along Route 356 in Winfield Township. The Jeep had disabling damage.

State Police, Kittanning8:25 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Janet A. Moore of Sligo crashed into a vehicle that was pulled off on the side of Kittanning Hollow Road in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County.Police said Moore was driving north when she struck a pickup truck driven by Ronald D. Roofner, who had stopped off the road in front of his mailbox. Moore was taken to ACMH Hospital for treatment and a DUI evaluation, police said.3:10 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by James D. Rose, 31, of Arnold struck a concrete barrier along Route 28 in Buffalo Township.Police said Rose’s vehicle drifted into a snowy shoulder causing him to lose control.Rose suffered minor injuries and was taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital. He was cited with a traffic lane violation.6:57 a.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Buddie L. Howard II, 32, of Vandergrift struck the back of a vehicle driven by Stephen T. Mikus, 51, of Saxonburg along Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.Mikus was taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital. Howard was cited for driving too fast for conditions.10:42 a.m. Tuesday — A Ford Mustang driven by Bethany C. McKinney, 25, of Butler struck the center median on Route 28 in Tarentum, Allegheny County.Police said McKinney lost control of her car due to winter weather. She will be cited with multiple traffic violations.9:37 a.m. Tuesday — Jack A. Chadwell III, 38, of Parker lost control of his vehicle along Route 268 in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County, and crashed into an embankment. Chadwell’s vehicle rolled onto its side following the collision. Police said wintery conditions caused the accident.7:42 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Curtis M. Hughes, 23, of Freeport crashed into the guard rail along Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Police said Hughes lost control of the vehicle due to wintery conditions.3:30 a.m. Jan. 9 — A pickup truck driven by Nathan J. Clark, 32, of Worthington crashed and rolled onto its roof along Route 422 in Worthington, Armstrong County.Police said Clark’s truck started to slide while he was going around a curve. The truck began to spin and struck a guard rail before rolling on its roof over an embankment.Clark was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property.

Grove City Police7:55 a.m. Dec. 15 — Three men have been arrested after they allegedly stole two vehicles last month, and police are searching for another.Police received reports of two vehicles being stolen from the 400 block of McConnell Street and the 500 block of Oakland Avenue.Following an investigation, police filed charges against Ryan J. Fitzpatrick, 18, of New Castle; Devon L. Smith, 18, of Sharon, Shaun M. Alter, 18, New Castle and Shawn M. Wilson, 18, of Sharon.Both vehicles have been recovered, one by the Shenango Police Department and the other by the Warren, Ohio, police department.Smith and Wilson are in the Mercer County Jail.Fitzpatrick is out on bail, while police are still looking for Alter, who has several other outstanding warrants for arrest.Anyone with information on Alter can contact the Grove City Police.
