Mystery dinner theater plannedCRANBERRY TWP — Solving a murder mystery will be the theme of a fundraising dinner and show performed by area senior citizens Feb. 9 at the senior center in Cranberry Township’s Rochester Road Municipal Center.The actors participate in the Nutrition Group of the Butler County Area Agency on Aging.In the show, playboy partygoer Pierre DuPre is found strangled by a string of Mardi Gras beads. Guests are invited to help unmask the culprit. Over a span of three hours, segments of the mystery game performance will alternate with courses of a lasagna dinner, starting at 4 p.m.Attendance at “Murder at Mardi Gras” is by reservation only and costs $5.Reservations are being taken weekdays at 724-772-6086 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Jan. 29.

Singing group offers ValentineGreater Harmony Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, is offering to send a quartet or octet to sing for a Valentine’s surprise Feb. 13 and 14.Singing Valentines can be sent to a workplace, home or restaurant, among others, for $50.
