PennDOT drops I-80 speed limit in Clarion County due to snow squalls
PennDOT has lowered the speed limit on parts of Interstate 80 in western Pennsylvania due to snow squalls.
The 45 mph speed limit was put in place about 10 a.m. Thursday due to white out conditions between Exit 45 at St. Petersburg to Exit 73 in Corsica. Both exits are in Clarion County, about 60 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
The interstate is a frequent site of multi-vehicle crashes in snowy and icy weather.
