Isaac Cole, a 15-year-old musician from Emlenton, is advancing on the “American Idol” TV show in its final season.

Cole and his family and friends were at the Texas Roadhouse in the Clearview Mall , Center Township, on Wednesday night for a viewing party when his audition was aired nationally. It was revealed that he had advanced to the Hollywood Week Round.

Cole, who is an inspirational country music singer, had auditioned in August 2015 in Philadelphia.

In Hollywood round, the contestants go through a series of elimination shows to get to the top 24 performers, who will move forward with live shows, which begin in February.

While Cole cannot disclose how he does in Hollywood round, viewers can watch “American Idol” at 8 p.m. Wednesdays on the FOX network.

He is the son of Frank and Cheryl McNany.
