Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township, will be the site of a Cross Country Ski Workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Pleasant Valley Day Use Area, South Shore (registration required); and a Winterfest 5K Run/Walk on Jan. 16 with 9 a.m. registration at Pavilion 7, McDanel’s Launch, North Shore.
