A car driving on Route 68 this morning crashed into the house at 220 Chicora Road in Summit Township. The house did not appear to be damaged, but the front porch had damage from the 4 a.m. accident.

The home, owned by Sue Courson, will be checked out by a contractor to get an estimate of the damage.

State police, the Lick Hill Volunteer Fire Company and East Butler Ambulance responded to the crash. Crews were on scene for about an hour and a half.
