Science center to host train weekendPITTSBURGH — Locomotion Weekend at the Carnegie Science Center on Jan. 9 and 10 will be the grand finale of the holiday season.The center will have many displays and activities from model train associations and hobbyists. This is in addition to the Miniature Railroad & Village. Visitors can bring their own model trains for a free checkup by the “Loco Doctor,” which includes basic repairs, cleaning and oiling.Activities are included with general admission of $18.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3 to 12.
