Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will have a contemporary Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m. today, a traditional service at 7:30 p.m. and a service with Holy Communion at 9:30 p.m.

There will be no youth group or Sunday school Sunday.

The office will be closed Friday and Monday.

Christ’s Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will have a 7 p.m. Christmas Eve service.

The Monday evening Bible study.

COMMUNITY LIFE

Community Life Church, which holds service at McQuistion Elementary School, will have a candlelight Christmas Eve service for adults and students from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Nursery and preschool child care will be available.

There will be no setup or tear down Sunday. There will be a building fund offering and a Laundromat ministry outing.

Year-end contributions must be received by the church office or postmarked by Dec. 31 to be included in 2015 contribution statements.

CORNERSTONE BAPTIST BIBLE CHURCH

Cornerstone Baptist Bible Church, 17 Overlook Lane, Freeport, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. today. The service will include congregational caroling, special music and devotional time.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have a Christmas Eve service with a concert of festival music at 7 p.m. and the service of lessons and carols from 7:30 to 9 p.m. today. The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be included in the worship service.

The Sunday worship service will include the best-loved Christmas carols and the noisy offering.

The 2016 offering envelopes will be available Sunday in the narthex.

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will include Holy Communion as part of today’s 6 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve service.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have two Christmas Eve services. A children’s service will be at 4:30 p.m. today. Music of Christmas will be at 10 p.m. today, followed by a candlelight service of Holy Communion at 10:30 p.m..

FIRST PRESBYTERIAN OF BAKERSTOWN

First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, will have three Christmas Eve candlelight services today.

The 5 p.m. service will have music and drama by children and youths and a reflection by the Rev. Jeremy Collins.

There will be music by the praise band and a meditation by the Rev. Dan Muttart at 7:30 p.m.

The chancel choir will provide music and there will be a meditation by the Rev. Dan Muttart at 11 p.m.

Child care will be available for infants and toddlers at the 5 and 7:30 p.m. services.

The Friendship Parish of the Beaver/Butler Presbytery, including Bethel Presbyterian Church, Route 8 and Route 108, Slippery Rock; West Liberty Presbyterian Church, West Liberty Road, Slippery Rock; and Wolf Creek Presbyterian Church, New Castle Road, Slippery Rock; will celebrate Christmas Eve today with a 7 p.m. candlelight service at Wolf Creek Presbyterian Church.

Grace’s Closet will be closed Saturday and reopen Jan. 9.

The church will celebrate the Christ Child with vespers at 6:30 tonight. The lighting of candles of remembrance will be included in the service.

Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, will have a family-friendly Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. today. A service with the chancel choir will be at 7 p.m. Traditional worship with Communion will be at 11 p.m.

WIC will offer services at the church at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday The A-team will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
