She has been with the company for more than 17 years serving in numerous capacities.

SAXONBURG — An open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday at the new UPMC Centers for Rehab Services in the borough.

The facility at 333 W. Main St. handles physical therapy and sports rehab programs.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at noon, and participants toured the building, met the staff and had lunch.

EMLENTON — The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has promoted Jerome F. Millin to senior vice president, chief technology officer.

In this position, he will be responsible for enhancing the bank’s technology, managing cyber security strategies and overseeing the information technology department.

Since joining the bank in May 2012, he has made significant technological advancements there.

Millin is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He got his Certified Community Bank Security Professional Certification through the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers and has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Penn State University.

He lives in Venus, Pa.

BUFFALO TWP — Employees of Oberg Industries recently donated 150 bags of Christmas gifts to the Butler County Children’s Center.

Gifts of toys and clothing were donated for children from ages birth to 17 years.

The children’s center supplied Oberg employees with gift tags with children’s first names, ages and gift preferences.

Employees began collecting gifts after Thanksgiving.

Oberg has donated Christmas gifts to the children’s center since 1999.
