Julia Baxter's double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds sparked the Butler County Community College women's basketball team to a 66-51 win at Mercyhurst North East Thursday evening.

Alycia Brehm and Saydie Moore both added eight points for the Pioneers (8-4).

Men's Basketball

The Pioneers dropped a 100-57 decision to Mercyhurst North East, with Ken Sneade scoring 19 points.

Markel Peace added 16 points, Austin Miller 12 points and 11 assists and Jake Anderson 12 rebounds for winless BC3.
