The Butler County Community College women’s basketball team had two players record double-doubles and three more score in double figures during a 65-50 win over Point Park Community College’s junior varsity team Thursday at home.

Butler graduate Julia Baxter (13 points and 15 rebounds) and Christina Davis (11, 16) led the Pioneers, who improved to 6-3.

Tiffany Montgomery (19 points) and Butler graduate Kalynn Callihan (12) also finished in double figures for the Pioneers.

Moniteau graduate Alycia Brehm had a team-high eight assists for BC3.

Men’s basketballKnoch graduate Austin Miller scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists in BC3’s 81-52 loss to Garrett.The Pioneers fell to 0-10 on the season. Ken Sneed also contributed 16 points for BC3.
