Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will host its annual women’s luncheon at 10 a.m. Saturday. Participants can Christmas shop at vendors in the gym then have lunch. The Rev. Jen Haddox will be the keynote speaker. There is no cost, but there will be an offering for South Butler County Meals on Wheels.

The youth group will leave Saturday for its winter retreat to Camp Lambec, Lake Erie. They will return Sunday evening.

GOSPEL FELLOWSHIP

Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church, 161 McFann Road, Valencia, will celebrate its Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at 4 p.m. Sunday. This is a tradition of nine Scripture readings accompanied by carols and hymns celebrating the birth and work of Christ. A congregational dinner will follow in the gymnasium.
