State Police, Butler3 p.m. Saturday — Jerod Hutchison, 21, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled on Route 8 near Muddy Creek Drive in Clay Township.
State Police, Franklin9:15 a.m. Saturday — Elaine I. Best, 20, of Emlenton lost control of her sport utility vehicle and struck an embankment, rolling onto its roof on Airport Road just west of West Home Road in Richland Township, Venango County.Best was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. The Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.2:15 a.m. Saturday — A baseball bat wielding vandal smashed a window of a 52-year-old Emlenton man’s car at Otto’s Bar in Emlenton.The suspect, Samuel R. Summers, 52, of McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, man was cited for criminal mischief.
State Police, Kittanning10 p.m. Sunday — Domonique Jackson, 25, of Leechburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Armstrong County.10:19 p.m. Saturday — A 28-year-old Kittanning man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 268 and Freeport Road in East Franklin Township.3:19 a.m. Saturday — A traffic stop in West Kittanning led to the arrest of a man and the recovery of a vehicle stolen out of Philadelphia.Troopers stopped the car on Butler Road for several traffic violations. A check of the license plate found the vehicle was stolen. The driver, Nicholas D. Diemedio, 20, of Philadelphia’s Roxborough neighborhood, was arrested on charges of receiving stolen property.He is in the Armstrong County Jail on $50,000 bail.9:09 a.m. Thursday — A 65-year-old Ford City man, who police did not identify, was arrested for DUI on Route 28 in Harrison Township, Armstrong County. Police said the driver was three times over the state’s 0.08 percent legal limit for alcohol.He was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township for treatment due to the level of his intoxication.
