Covenant PRESBYTERIAN

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will have pledge dedication Sunday. Worshippers will provide their pledge cards for dedication and blessing.

Covenant will host the Slippery Rock University Choirs in concert at 7 p.m. Sunday. The program will feature the concert choir performing Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata.

The youth group at Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will attend a Jewish synagogue service Saturday and then visit an indoor climbing wall. The group will leave the church at 9 a.m. and return about 3:30 p.m.

There will be a congregational meeting after worship Sunday. It will include officer elections, a vote on the pastor’s terms of call and financial reports.

RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCH

The November mission offering at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will go to the Samaritan Counseling Center of Western Pennsylvania.

The Covenant Food Cupboard would like donations of gift certificates to local markets, stuffing mix, canned yams, other canned vegetables, pie fillings and pie crusts. They also will accept other food. Place donations in the cart in the narthex.
