[naviga:h3]Pianist will give concert in church[/naviga:h3]

ELLWOOD CITY — Christian pianist Jim Hendricks will give a concert at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Wurtemburg Methodist Church, 1244 Portersville Road.

The concert is open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken and refreshments will be provided afterward.

Hendricks has performed more than 1,200 Christian concerts in churches, including three appearances at the Crystal Cathedral.

He has written a book, made 13 piano recordings and performed on ABC, CBS, TBN and PAX.

[naviga:h3]Community prayer slated[/naviga:h3]

Butler County Christians are invited to join together at 7 p.m. Sunday at the North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St., for this month’s Concert of Prayer.

All churches are invited to participate by hosting community prayer meetings.

[naviga:h3]College men’s quartet to perform[/naviga:h3]

The men’s quartet of Allegheny Wesleyan College in Salem, Ohio, will present a program of sacred music at a friends and family rally day at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Butler Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, 590 Protzman Road.

There is no charge for this public concert. A freewill offering will be received for the college.
