Supervisor gets reelected
CLEARFIELD TWP — Voters in Clearfield Township reelected Supervisor Daniel Raabe to a six-year term on the township’s board Tuesday, in a race that saw him comfortably defeat challenger Mark Focht.
Raabe, a Democrat, won with 257 votes, or 55.8 percent. Focht, a Republican, received 199 votes, or 42.45 percent.
The vote totals are based on unofficial, online tallies kept by Butler County.
Contacted at home on Tuesday night Raabe declined to comment on the election results or his coming term in office, which begins on Jan. 1.
