Butler Police7:15 a.m. Thursday — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of New Castle Street and Hansen Avenue.A Buick driven by Heather Neely, 24, of Butler and a Hyundai driven by Karen L. Bacheler, 57, of Butler collided at the intersection. Stephen J. King, 26, of Butler, who was a passenger in the Buick, hit his head but refused treatment.All occupants were wearing seat belts. Both cars were towed.

State Police, Butler2:11 a.m. Friday — Kenneth M. Boda, 40, of West Sunbury was arrested for suspected DUI following a traffic stop on Hall Road, just east of Ford McCall Road in Clay Township. He was charged with DUI, drug possession and other traffic violations.5:47 p.m. Thursday — Michael J. Reilly, 24, of Pittsburgh was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on West New Castle Street near Wagner Avenue in Butler. Reilly was taken to the Butler County Prison.9:28 a.m. Thursday — A SUV driven by Ronald L. Hansen Jr., 51, of Slippery Rock caught fire while he was driving on Route 422 near Main Gate Road in Prospect.Hansen was able to escape the vehicle without injury. The SUV was fully involved in flames in the Fairground Market parking lot when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
