A 7-year-old girl was struck Thursday by a vehicle on West Wayne Street.

The incident took place about 4:40 p.m.

Steve Bicehouse, Butler County Emergency Services director, said that it does not appear the girl was transported to a hospital. She apparently was conscious and breathing following the crash.

Butler police and firefighters, along with Butler Ambulance Service responded to the crash. Crews were back in service at 4:55 p.m.

A report from city police was not available Friday morning, and no other information was available.
