COMMUNITY LIFE
Community Life Church holds services at McQuistion Elementary School.
All men are invited to carry wood for the Rev. Steve and the Rev. Mamie at 9 a.m. Saturday at 440 W. Pearl St. Lunch will be provided.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will have an 8:30 a.m. breakfast Sunday followed by a prayer service, Sunday school and a worship service.
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF EVANS CITY
The youth group of First Baptist Church of Evans City, 242 S. Washington St., Evans City, will meet at 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
The church will host Games Without Ghouls, a night without the scares, for children to earn prizes and candy, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Instead of two services Sunday, First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will have a single 10 a.m. service, followed by a campaign luncheon hosted by the stewardship team. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the social hall.

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will serve Communion at both services Sunday.
The deacons will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will celebrate the Lord's Supper during Sunday worship.
There will be a bake sale on Election Day in the fellowship hall to benefit the Hill Youth Chorale.

Springdale Lutheran Church, 1061 Mahood Road, West Sunbury, will celebrate the festival of All Saints' Day Sunday with Holy Communion at the worship service. Special recognition will be given to those members who died during the past year, along with those already in the church triumphant.
Prayers will be offered for present-day Christian martyrs and those being persecuted for their faith.

St. John's Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, will celebrate Holy Communion during the Sunday worship service.
The cause of the month for November is the Salvation Army, Butler Chapter, to help with its Christmas expenses.

There will be a pancake and sausage dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship hall.
The stewardship ministry and the Christian education ministry will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Because there is contemporary rehearsal at 7 p.m. Wednesday, the chancel choir will practice at 8 p.m. that day.
