Butler Police6:05 p.m. Saturday — Breanna M. Robinson, 21, of Butler was charged with simple assault after she allegedly hit a man with an ashtray.Police responded to the 400-block West New Castle Street apartment shared by Robinson and Nicholas C. Feitl, 28, on reports of a domestic dispute.Feitl told officers he was hit with a blunt object and had a large bruise on his head. Robinson allegedly admitted to hitting him with an ashtray after he shoved her. Police said Feitl was disorderly during the interviews and cited him for public drunkenness.4:40 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Cody McGuire, 28, of Butler was struck by two vehicles after he allegedly did not yield to traffic while turning onto Monroe Street from Jefferson Street.Police said McGuire turned in front of oncoming traffic at the intersection.He was cited for a turning lane violation.1:53 p.m. Friday — Samantha B. Miller, 21, of Butler and Angela C. Carlson, 23, of Butler were charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy after they allegedly stole $300 worth of clothing and two sodas from Kmart in Pullman Square.Police said the two women took a backpack into the changing room of the store and stuffed it full of clothing before fleeing from the store.Video surveillance showed them enter the changing rooms with the merchandise and leave with none.Police caught up with the suspects a short time later outside the Butler Public Library and cited them.
Butler Twp Police6:32 a.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Jason L. Belson, 30, of Butler struck a deer while driving westbound on Route 422. His vehicle was towed.2:30 p.m. Oct. 5 — Michael Perno, 66, of Massillon, Ohio, was charged with attempted theft by deception after he allegedly tried to return unpaid merchandise at the Petco in Butler Commons. Police said Perno used a receipt from another store in Ohio when attempting to make the return. The two items were valued at nearly $300.
State Police, KittanningMonday — A car driven by Marco G. Cristina, 23, of Pittsburgh struck a deer in the northbound lane of Route 28 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. The collision caused disabling damage to the car.
Middlesex Twp Police6:12 a.m. Tuesday — A motorcyclist suffered a shoulder injury after crashing into a deer on Slyvan Spring Lane.
