Butler Twp PoliceTuesday — Kelly Edwards, 27, of Butler was charged with simple assault and harassment after police were dispatched to an altercation on Alameda Road. No other information was available.9:32 a.m. Monday — Sierra Summers, 20, of Butler was charged with retail theft, disorderly conduct, simple trespass, driving during suspension and driving without a license after she allegedly attempted to steal $265 worth of Crest White strips and Nicorette gum from Walmart in Butler Commons.2:56 p.m. Aug. 29 — Joedee Ryan, 47, of Chicora was charged with retail theft from Giant Eagle after the store’s loss prevention started an internal investigation that determined Ryan allegedly stole $1,300 worth of cigarettes during the past six months.8:02 p.m. Aug. 23 — Mark David, 52, of Aliquippa was charged with DUI and other traffic citations following a traffic stop on Route 422.

State Police, Butler7 p.m. Thursday — State police are searching for a missing boy who left his Clay Township home with a friend Thursday night and never returned. Police were notified about 1 p.m. Friday.The boy’s name and age were not released.Oct. 2014 — Tamara A. Guffey, 48, of Boyers reported someone used her name and social security number to open a Comcast account in Miami, Fla.

State Police, Kittanning4:01 p.m. Friday — James A. Henry, 52, of Cabot suffered moderate injuries when his vehicle rolled over in a crash along Route 28 in Tarentum, Allegheny County.Police said Henry was driving northbound near Exit 14 when his vehicle left the road and struck a ditch in the center median, causing it to roll across median until it came to a rest in the left southbound lane.Henry was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by ambulance.5 p.m. Thursday — Larry E. Case, 60, reported a computer was stolen from his Freeport Road home in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Police said a suspect has been identified.
