Thomas R. “Tom” Brown Jr., 44, of East Lake Road, Westfield, N.Y., died unexpectedly Monday in Mecklenburg County, Va.

Thomas was born April 9, 1971, in Pittsburgh, Pa., He is the son of Thomas R. Brown Sr. of Westfield, N.Y., and the late Janice M. (McKnight) Brown.

Tom was a graduate of Waynesburg Central School in Waynesburg, Pa., attended Penn State at its main campus and West Virginia University, where he studied electrical engineering.

He was employed as a journeyman electrician with IBEW Local 191 of Everette, Wash. Tom loved his work and enjoyed working in different locations across the United States. He enjoyed traveling and meeting and making new friends and colleagues.

He is survived by his father, Thomas R. (Arianne Correll) Brown Sr. of Westfield; two sisters, Lisa Kelly of Wescosville, Pa., and Julie Conley of Stanardsville, Va.; and his brother, Eric R. Brown of Windsor Mill, Md.

BROWN — A private memorial service for Thomas R. “Tom” Brown, who died Monday, July 13, 2015, will be conducted by his family later. He will be buried at North Liberty Cemetery, Grove City.
