1:30 a.m. Sunday — Ervin Emiliand-Lopez Ramirez, 29, no known address, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Heather Cieloszyk, during a domestic dispute at her home in the 500 block of North McKean Street.
According to court documents, Ramirez punched her in the face and stole her cell phone. Cieloszyk’s left eye was swollen shut and she had bruises on her body, police said. She was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for her injuries.
The suspect was gone by the time Cieloszyk reported the incident. Police got an arrest warrant for Ramirez on charges of simple assault and theft.

11:26 p.m. Saturday — A 13-year-old girl was arrested after she allegedly hit her 34-year-old mother twice in the face during a domestic dispute at their home on Freeport Road in Summit Township. The girl, who is charged with simple assault, was turned over to the custody of the juvenile probation office.
Saturday — A burglar broke into a building at John Brown Trucking on New Castle Road in Muddy Creek Township. Police did not say if anything was taken in the burglary that happened between 12:05 a.m. and 1:15 a.m.
Saturday — A green, 2004 Yamaha Rhino was stolen on Grindle Road in Franklin Township. The off-road vehicle was taken between 1 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Police have no suspects.
Friday — A thief stole a Walmart gift card from a woman’s vehicle on Buttercup Lane in Brady Township. The theft happened between noon and 11 p.m.

1:40 p.m. Monday — Hailee M. Salander, 17, of Freeport suffered minor injuries when the car she was driving hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Route 128 just south of Duffy Road in South Buffalo Township.
The accident closed the road for about an hour. South Buffalo volunteer firefighters assisted police with traffic control. Police said Salander was wearing a seat belt.
1 a.m. Monday — Two Worthington women were among four people hurt in a hit-and-run crash on Route 66 at Maple Drive in Manor Township. The wreck happened when an unidentified vehicle struck the back of a minivan driven by Lynn A. Lay, 49, of Worthington.
The other driver passed the van and continued south on Route 66.
Lay and three passengers — Billie J. Pisor, 46, of Worthington; and Jennifer L. Gamble, 31, and April M. Brown, 34, both of Vandergrift — suffered minor injuries. All four occupants were wearing seat belts.
9 p.m. Wednesday — A thief stole the license plate from a Worthington man’s Yamaha motorcycle at the Sidebar bar in Rayburn Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.

6:14 p.m. Monday — Shelley L. Gansca, 61, of Sharon was hurt when she lost control of her car and it crashed into a utility pole along George Junior Road just east of Cranberry Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.
Gansca, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries. Police said she was cited for disregarding traffic lanes.
Friday — A thief stole several plants, planters and decorations from a porch of a home on Amsterdam Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. The theft happened between 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday.
4:36 p.m. Thursday — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Springfield Township.
The crash happened when a car driven by Jeffery T. Kepner, 22, of Jackson Center and a pickup driven by Ryan E. Davis, 41, of Grove City collided on Route 208 at the Interstate 79 south off-ramp.
Kepner and his two passengers — Brandon L. Atwell, 28, and Bronson L. Bush, 24, both of Grove City — suffered minor injuries. Kepner and Atwell were treated at the scene. Bush was taken to the Grove City Medical Center.
Police said all four occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts.

Aug. 5 — A burglar stole a green, 2001 Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike from an unlocked garage in the 7100 block of Old Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The break-in happened between 12:01 and 5 a.m.
