Jeffrey A. Boggess

Jeffrey A. Boggess, 37, of Ohio Township, Allegheny County, passed away Monday from leukemia.

He was the beloved husband of 12 years of Stephanie Letzkus; the proud and loving father of Eleanor Darby and Imogen Willow; and the devoted son of Nancie Boggess and the late Robert “Rocky” Boggess.

He was the loving son-in-law to Joseph and Elva Letzkus; the caring brother of Andrew (Erica Mendish) and Peter Boggess (Maya); the cherished brother-in-law of Scott and Maureen Staub; the treasured uncle of Jackson, Robert, Michael and Joanna Boggess and Emmett Staub.

He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jeff was a proud Pitt graduate, a talented musician and a respected teacher at Avonworth High School.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Shadyside, 7 Main, 7 West and Hillman, for their attentive care and the Avonworth community for their generous support.

BOGGESS — Friends of Jeffrey A. Boggess, who died Monday, July 6, 2015, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution to the Jeffrey Boggess Memorial Fund, which will be used for the education of Jeff's daughters.Donations may be made to: Jeffrey Boggess Memorial Fund c/o PNC Bank 118 Green Valley Road, Pittsburgh PA 15237.
