Butler Twp Police7:32 p.m. Thursday — Robert Murray, 52, of Prospect was charged with retail theft and trespass after he allegedly stole $100 worth of merchandise from Walmart in Butler Commons.10:56 a.m. Monday — Donna Bauman, 62, of Freedom was charged with theft of services after allegedly dumping trash into the dumpster behind Pool King, 178 Pittsburgh Road.

State Police, Butler1:05 p.m. Friday — A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Clearfield Road and Old Route 422 in Clearfield Township. Police said an SUV driven by Jacob D. May, 18, of Ford City failed to yield at the intersection and pulled in front of a pickup truck driven by Joshua A. Kaufman, 30, of Fenelton. May was cited for a stop sign violation.11:58 a.m. Friday — A teenager suffered moderate injuries in a three-vehicle crash on New Castle Road in Franklin Township.Police said a car driven by Adam L. Ruediger, 17, of Fenelton struck the back of a car driven by Sarah J. Hokom, 32, of Caldwell, Idaho, as she was slowing down for traffic. The collision forced Hokom’s car into the westbound lane, where it collided with a tractor-trailer driven by Donald M. Michael, 52, of New Castle.Ruediger was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital. Both Hokom and Michael refused treatment at the scene. Ruediger was cited for following too closely.10:55 p.m. Thursday — William E. Evans, 36, of Clinton Township reported someone entered his home and stole cash and multiple video games. The suspect then fled on foot to a getaway car.10:52 a.m. June 1 — Eugene M. Janovick, 52, of New Castle was arrested for suspected DUI after state police stopped him at the intersection of Jefferson and Broad streets in the city. A passenger in the vehicle, Kelli A. Mars, 29, also of New Castle, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a crack cocaine pipe.

State Police, New Castle5:30 p.m. July 29 — Heath Fabean, 39, of Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, reported someone stole two handguns from his Frew Mill Road home.The suspects stole a black Smith and Wesson .38 caliber revolver and a stainless Taurus Ultralight .410/.45 caliber pistol with black rubber grips.Value of the guns is $1,100. Police said the suspects also caused $400 damage to the door of the home.
