Sandra D. Klingensmith
Sandra D. Klingensmith, 56, of Butler and Sugarcreek died Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 25, 1958, she was the daughter of David B. and Marjorie “Carolyn” (McCanna) Irwin.
Sandy was married to Mark Klingensmith for 37 years.
They resided in New Iberia, La., for the majority of those years.
Sandy loved animals, playing scrabble and cards, listening to music, especially '70s music and Christian music, and was a huge Elton John fan.
Sandy had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh, especially her seven beautiful grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Mark Klingensmith of New Iberia, La.; two daughters, Caryn (Jason) Benoit and Amy (Blake) Edler, both of New Iberia; her mother, Carolyn Irwin of Sugarcreek; five sisters, Marilyn “Marilee” Wiseman, Patricia (Jim) Emminger, Linda (Jack) Schwab, Cherie Greenspring and Robin (Ron) Patch; and one brother, David Irwin.
Sandy is also survived by seven grandchildren Kayla, Kelsey, Gracie, Tyler, Corgan, Riley and Jackson; two best friends of 50 years, Tammy (Clyde) Beham and Janice (George) LaVan; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Cynthia Schaumloffel.
