Thursday — Unknown suspects pried open an overhead door to a concession stand at the Commodore Perry Lions Little League field in Perry Township, Mercer County, and stole an assortment of candy.Police said the thieves made off with about $15 worth of treats, but caused about $200 in damage to the stand.Anyone with information is asked to contact police.3:35 p.m. Wednesday — Chelsea R. Cogswell, 23, of Lake Township, Mercer County, is facing aggravated assault charges after she allegedly fired a 9 mm handgun during a dispute with Sean K. Cogswell, 24, at their Mercer Road home.Police said the two were having a verbal dispute when it turned into a physical altercation. Chelsea Cogswell then fired a shot in the vicinity of Sean Cogswell, police said.Chelsea Cogswell is also facing charges of terroristic threats and simple assault. She is in Mercer County Prison $50,000 bail.Sean Cogswell was charged with simple assault and harassment.July 5 — Samuel J. McClelland, 36, of Mercer was charged with open lewdness, possession of a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct after he was seen urinating in the parking lot of Eat'n Park in Springfield Township, Mercer County.Police arrested McClelland, who was highly intoxicated, inside the restaurant. He was in possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to court documents.

3 p.m. Thursday — An arrest warrant was issued for Charles A. Chemelli Jr., 35, of Kittanning after he allegedly assaulted a 33-year-old woman in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Police said they were unable to locate Chemelli following the incident.
