Bill and Nora Mae Smith

Bill and Nora Mae Smith of Slippery Rock celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family picnic at their home.

Smith married the former Nora Mae Dunlap on July 2, 1950.

They have four children, Harold Smith of Grove City, Penny Lawrence of Mercer, Dwight Smith of Sarasota, Fla., and David Smith of Canton, Ohio.

They also have 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Smith retired from Armco Steel in 1989.Mrs. Smith retired as a registered nurse from Slippery Rock University Health Services in 1986.The Smiths are members of Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.
