Martin 60th anniversary
Ross and Eileen Martin of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.
Martin married the former Eileen Byrne on July 16, 1955, at Saint Henry Roman Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
They have six children, Catherine Martin, Susan Martin, Deborah Martin, Timothy “Pepper” (Lori) Martin, Thomas (Kristie) Martin and Stephen Martin, all of Butler County.
They also have eight grandchildren.
The Martins own and operate Martin Funeral Home in Butler.
Martin is a funeral director and a member of the Butler County Funeral Directors Association. He also is a member of the Oakview Golf Club.
He is a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler where he is a longtime member of the choir.
Mrs. Martin, also a member of Saint Paul Church, is a longtime member of Saint Paul Catholic Women and Christian Mothers. She is a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and she is a greeter at Saint Paul Church.
