Legion All-Star Game Sunday at Highfield
The Butler County Area Legion Baseball League will hold its annual all-star game at 1 p.m. Sunday at Highfield Park.
The nine-inning game will feature 42 players from the league.
Comprising the West team will be players from Butler City, Cranberry, Kiski, Mars, Valley and West Sunbury. Playing for the East will be representaties from Center Townsghip, East Butler, Karns City, Meridian and Saxonburg.
Valley entered action this week with a 9-2 record. Meridian (8-4) and East Butler (7-2) are other top teams while Karns City won four of its first five games.
