Butler Police

7:34 p.m. Saturday — Jeffrey A. Blystone, 52, faces a charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a neighborhood dispute in the 300 block of Morton Avenue.

The sister of a woman who lives next to Blystone notified police to report his family members were trespassing on her sibling’s properly. Officers warned Blystone to stay off the neighbor’s property.

But about five minutes after leaving, police were called back when the same caller as before reported Blystone was now yelling obscenities across the street.

State Police, Butler

8:56 a.m. Sunday — Micah D. Brugere, 20, of Renfrew lost control of his van and crashed into an embankment on Saxonburg Boulevard in Clinton Township. The van rolled onto its roof. Brugere was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Sunday — A white Nissan Altima was stolen from the driveway of a home on Foster Lane in Summit Township. The car, owned by a Freeport woman, was taken between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 12:30 p.m. Sunday.

The vehicle had damage to the passenger side mirror and a crack in the windshield. It had the Pennsylvania license JBF0865. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

Sunday — Tammy Jo Kachik, 32, of Grove City was arrested in connection with the June 1 theft of a Deena brand purse at the Boscov’s store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. She is charged with retail theft.

2:38 p.m. Thursday — A van driven by Alex Edinger, 32, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Savannah M. Gibson, 21, of Prospect collided at Route 422 and Main Gate Road in Prospect. Gibson, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a minor injury.

Police said Edinger was cited for making an improper left turn.

State Police, Franklin

7:05 p.m. Friday — Daniel J. Kaylor, 60, of Clintonville was hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Scrubgrass Township.

The wreck happened when a car driven by Jenna M. Pelly, 20, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, pulled in front of a pickup truck that Kaylor was driving at Route 208 and Stone Church Road. Kaylor lost control of his truck and crashed into a yard.

Kaylor was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. Pelly was cited for a stop sign violation.

State Police, Kittanning

12:02 p.m. Saturday — Adrian S. Morvik, 21, of Kittanning swerved her car to avoid a dog on the road and struck an embankment on Route 422 just west of Blose Hollow Road in Kittanning Township.

10:56 a.m. Saturday — A 27-year-old Ford City woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Logansport Road in Bethel Township.

10:45 a.m. Saturday — Dale A. Basso, 32, of Ford City was hurt in a three-vehicle wreck in a construction zone in Manor Township. Basso was driving a car that was stopped on the on-ramp from Business Route 422 to Route 422 west where it was rear-ended by a car driven by Kimberly J. Bish, 55, of Ford City. The collision forced Basso’s vehicle into the back of a third car stopped in front of him. Basso, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with minor injuries.

Police said Bish was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Gerald A. Lerner, 73, of Ford City was the third driver.

Tuesday — A 91-year-old Worthington woman was conned out of $9,000 in a telephone scam. The unknown thief on June 8 called the woman the first time and claimed to be her grandson.

The suspect told the elderly woman that she needed to buy $4,500 worth of Visa check cards and give him the card numbers. She complied. The suspect called a second time with the same instructions, which the victim on Tuesday again followed.

State Police, Mercer

9:30 p.m. Thursday — A New Castle man was injured when a deer ran into the motorcycle he was driving in Springfield Township. Blake R. Peterson, 23, who was wearing a helmet, crashed on Route 19. He was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.

5:50 p.m. June 8 — A minivan driven by Jason A. Pardee, 43, of Conneautville, Crawford County, struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township.
