Three military people from Butler County have graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

They are:

• Air Force Airman 1st Class Nathan T. Travis, a 2011 graduate of Knoch High School.

• Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Breetaralyn C. Sloan, a 2013 graduate of Butler High School. She is the daughter of Scott Sloan and Renee McCommons of Butler.

• Air Force Airman Benjamin R. Burrows, who earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Lisa Burrows of Gibsonia and Stuart Burrows of Butler. He is a graduated in 2014 graduate of Pine-Richland High School.

They completed an eight-week program that included military discipline and studies, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
