BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases:

Melinda S. Andre, 24, of Butler waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Feb. 18 by township police.

Lacey A. Howard, 21, of Butler was held for court on charges of disorderly conduct, possessing drug paraphernalia and retail theft, filed March 30 by township police.

Zachary S. Lowe, 22, of Butler was held for court on charges of conspiracy to commit retail theft, filed May 11 by township police.

James T. Matuke III, 26, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed April 6 by township police. Powell was ordered to pay $472.50 in fines and court costs.

Jessica M. Miller, 25, of Butler was held for court on charges of disorderly conduct and retail theft, filed March 30 by township police,

Chad A. Norris, 24, of Meadville, Crawford County, waived to court charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, reckless driving and a seat belt violation, filed Oct. 20 by state police.

Jose Olivio Jr., 31, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and failing to notify authorities of a new address, filed Feb. 27 by township police.

Justin D. Ortego, 26, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI and careless driving, filed March 6 by township police.

Georden R.E. Powell, 18, of Lyndora pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed March 19 by township police. Powell was ordered to pay $472.50 in fines and court costs.

Matthew W. Sheppeck, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving too fast for conditions and driving with faulty tires, filed Feb. 27 by township police.

Trenton L. Stearns, 19, of Grove City waived to court charges of DUI, underage drinking, careless driving, disregarding traffic lanes, disobeying traffic control devices and failing to notify authorities of a change of address, filed March 30 by township police.

Stearns, in a separate case filed March 12 by township police, waived a charge of retail theft.

Ann M. Sumney, 37, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of bad checks, filed April 9 by township police. Sumney was ordered to pay $473.97 in restitution, fines and court costs.

Dacia R. Walker, 26, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possessing a controlled substance, filed March 30 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.

Todd E. Watt, 30, of Prospect was held for court on a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Feb. 2 by township police.

Richard D. Wissinger, 25, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, possessing drug paraphernalia, careless driving and a lighting violation, filed Feb. 15 by township police.

Beistel, 30, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment, filed May 24.Samuel A. Bellis, 19, of Petrolia waived to court charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol, filed May 5.Brent J. Bish, 20, of Petrolia waived to court charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol, filed May 5.Billy Joe Bowser, 44, of Hilliards was held for court on charges of possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance and corruption of minors, filed Dec. 3.Bowser, in a separate case filed April 2, waived a charge of retail theft.Jacob T. Freiters, 22, of Petrolia waived to court charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, following too closely to another vehicle, driving at an unsafe speed, careless driving and littering on a highway, filed May 4.Michael D. Mohn, 50, of Chicora was held for court on a charge of stalking, filed May 26.David K. Moody, 65, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, disobeying traffic control devices and running a red light, filed May 5.Mark S. Myers, 55, of Chicora waived to court charges of DUI, failing to keep right, disregarding traffic lanes and careless driving, filed April 3.Thomas L. Shuler, 29, of Cabot was held for court on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault, intimidating a victim and harassment, filed May 27.Tabitha L. Smith, 33, of Petrolia was held for court on charges of possessing with intent to deliver of a controlled substance, conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance and corruption of minors, filed Dec. 3.Jacob G. Trufley, 23, of Petrolia waived to court charges of operating or conducting a chop shop and altering or destroying a vehicle identification number, filed May 1.Trufley, in a separate case filed May 12, waived charges of theft, conspiracy to commit theft, and receiving stolen property.
