Nick Robinson and Jesse Saviski combined pitching duties as Meridian defeated Center Township, 10-4, in a mutual Butler County American Legion baseball league opener Tuesday night at Kelly Automotive Park.

Robinson started the game and got the win. Saviski pitched three scoreless innings for the save while contributing a double offensively.

Blake Williams had three singles and two RBI, Evan Knauer a double, single and two runs scored, Jacob Stutz two singles and two RBI for Meridian. Darren Bergbigler singled and scored a run.

Tyler Kline, Dane Milich and Nick Richards all singled for Center Township.
