Kerven Subaru in Butler Township will close next week after the franchise was bought by #1 Cochran.
New Cochran Subaru to be on New Castle Road
BUTLER TWP — Kerven Subaru will close next week after 46 years.
The dealership at 100 Barracks Road, which is just off West New Castle Road, announced it has sold its Subaru franchise to #1 Cochran.
Its last day for sales and service will be Friday, and its last day of operation will be Tuesday.
Officials with Kerven Subaru stated in an e-mail to customers that the new Cochran Subaru will be at the former Mikan Volkswagen dealership on New Castle Road, which is west of Kerven.
Representatives with Cochran could not be reached for comment.
The expected closing date of the sale is Tuesday.
Mikan Volkswagen closed in March when it was bought by Diehl Automotive and moved to that dealership on Route 8.
