Today would have been a special day

But now it brings sadness and sorrow

If we could just share one more day

If there was one more tomorrow.

But birthdays are a time for reflection

To look over a year that’s past

And I can’t believe that a year’s gone by

The time it goes so fast.

But memories of more happier times

In our hearts will stay

We’ll treasure each and every one

Till we meet again some day.

So we’ll say goodbye for now
