HARRISBURG — Pennsylvanians who are not registered to vote but want to cast a ballot in the primary election are running out of time.

Today is the last day to register to vote in the May 19 balloting that will decide the Republican and Democratic nominations for state, county and local judgeships, as well as hundreds of local offices and school-board seats.

This year’s ballot features a crowded race for an unprecedented three open seats on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

To register, a person must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 and a Pennsylvania resident for at least 30 days before the election.
