Ellsworth A. 'Al' Moon Jr.
Ellsworth A. “Al” Moon Jr., 76, of Butler passed away at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday at his daughter's home.
He was born April 19, 1938, in Franklin, to the late Ellsworth A. Moon Sr. and Ruth E. Richardson Moon.
Ellsworth was a salesman for many years with various companies. After his retirement, he enjoyed helping his daughter at her business making dog collars at Clara's Collars.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Ellsworth was a lifelong member of the Butler Elks Club 170 and a member of the American Legion 778 of Lyndora.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, his grandchildren, his grand-dogs and his friends at the Butler Elks Lodge 170.
Ellsworth is survived by two daughters, Lisa Tracy and her husband, Randy, of Butler and Lori Archer of Butler; two grandchildren, Madison Archer and Zachary Archer, both of Butler; two step-grandchildren, John Tracy and his wife, Carlie, of Fortmill, S.C., and Emily Marshall and her husband, Eric, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two sisters.
Moon— According to his wishes there will be no public visitation for Ellsworth A. “Al” Moon Jr., who passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
