The Tornado Big Band, consisting of students in grades seven through 12 in the Butler School District performing jazz, Latin, rock and classic big band songs, will perform as part of BC3’s Local Artists Mini-Series at 7:30 p.m. April. 30.

• GCC music professor Richard Konzen will play songs that demonstrate the versatility of the organ at a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Parker Organ Studio of the Pew Fine Arts Center. Admission is free.
