Butler Police

7:31 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Clinton E. Cumberland, 19, of Petrolia collided with a car driven by Nancy J. Miles, 56, of Butler on South Monroe Street.

Miles told police she was driving southbound when she saw an oncoming northbound vehicle in her lane.

Miles was unable to move aside due to parked cars along the street, so she stopped her car before it was struck by Cumberland’s vehicle.

Witnesses confirmed what Miles told police. Cumberland told officers he was not sure what happened.

No charges have been filed.
